This is for the first of its kind in the history of a school that its own research wing gives academic directions to the school. The day to day activities of the school is under the guidance of MERC. The Research Centre plans innovative projects to improve the academic quality of the school.

As an International school our primary aim is to make our children proficient in English. Keeping this in mind, MERC designed a special project as EFC to learn English well. From KG to Grade 12 the children get special faculties from far and wide to interact with. They also get the opportunity to have reputed faculties as their visiting teachers. The project designed by MERC brings in results now. In the last ICSE and ISC sessions we scored national average with the help of EFC.

A specially designed Civil Service Training programme under the aegis of MERC is in process at HTAIS. Eminent personality’s workshops and high profile CST groups like Amrita Civil Service Academy also helps us in providing children civil service training. Children from Grade VI get benefitted of this.

MERC introduced Chaithanya Entrance Coaching Centre, Hyderabad to Holy Trinitians. The centre imparts training in basic science related skills from Grade VI and in Grade XI and XII the entrance coaching is carried out fully by them under the guidance of MERC.

The most important project run by MERC in the campus is HealthSetGo Project. This project addresses the health related issues of our 3650 students. Our constant endeavour is to challenge the normal and go beyond the ordinary. We aspire to guide our students in finding the special quality that helps them stand apart. For this, we bring on board future-forward educational curriculum that is based on the best international practices. We combine the power of learning and individual skill sets, which we believe are the core of a rightful identity of any creative being.

Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE)

At Holy Trinity, we offer the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) curriculum to our students. The unique part of this curriculum is that it is strategically moulded to include HTAIS philosophy and the learning objectives laid down by the CISCE board.

Our curriculum framework is flexible and activity-based, which aids in strengthening the students’ essential understanding over the years.

The development of our curriculum is based on the application of four basic principles:

  • Defining appropriate learning objectives
  • Establishing useful learning experiences
  • Organising learning experiences to have a maximum cumulative effect
  • Evaluating the curriculum and revising certain aspects and concepts to suit the needs of the students. The curriculum revision is an ongoing process to make it more effective

The CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations) curriculum at HTAIS caters to students in the age group of 6-17 years.
